ABOUT ME
Francesca is a graphic designer, illustrator and artist based in Malta with a love for art, and a desire to inspire and entertain those that see her work. ​Graduated from the University of Malta with Bachelors of Fine Arts (Hons.) in Digital Arts, as well as having a Professional Diploma in UX Design, she is currently working as a Graphic Designer at Tipico whilst pursuing other creative ventures in her free time. ​Her current dream is to one day write and illustrate her own book.
Achievements
Chiaroscuro – an exhibition of paintings, conversations between darkness and light
My painting, a recent self-portrait, was chosen to be exhibited as part of the Three Palaces Festival exhibition, held at the Grandmaster's Palace. This achievement marks a new era in my practice after a long creative hiatus.

My work was exhibited as part of the third edition of this group exhibition, hosted at Café Society Valletta and in collaboration with il-lokal, the aim of which was to give a spotlight to emerging artists, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Online exhibition
Upon reaching the end of my studies at the University of Malta, my thesis project exhibition along with those of my peers were exhibited online due to the quarantine conditions of the pandemic, making it the first exhibition of its kind coming from the Digital Arts department. My work was also used in the marketing for the event, and was featured in an article by the Times of Malta, which can be viewed here.
